Amanda Callahan-Instructor of Hunter/Jumpers, Equitation, English &Western Pleasure:
Amanda has been riding since the age of 5. When she was in high school she started training Off the Track TB’s. Many of the TB’s she has trained have all been successfully showing in the Hunter/Jumpers. Although Hunter/Jumper is her main discipline, she also teaches equitation, pleasure, and western riding.
Lessons are available from ages 5 and up, beginners through advanced. Besides teaching the students in the saddle, she also believes in teaching them how to care for their horse, grooming, barn management, and learning basic parts of horse, and the equipment that is used. Showing is available, whether it is on one of our lesson horses, or your own horse.

If you would like to have a lesson on your own horse you may trailer in but proof of shots, coggins and rabies are required

Lesson Policy
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled lesson time to groom, tack and spend time with your horse or pony.
- It is New York law, that all riders under the age of 18 wear an ASTM-SEI approved helmet. It is our policy that adults do the same. The chin straps on helmets should fit snugly for a safe fit. We strongly suggest that riders purchase their own helmets, but we do have helmets for first time riders and short term usage. A shoe with a heel about one inch in size is required.
- Payment is expected at the time of the lesson. Prepaid packages are available if interested.
- We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. Students who cancel with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full amount for the missed lesson. If we are given more than 24 hours notice, you will not be charged.
